Favorite part is the head of the school saying she will have a chance to prove wether shes level 99 or not, then goes ahead and signs an expulsion slip right after giving no time to prove it or not, not to mention how could she of tampered with it? she would of had to sneak in to tamper with the devices wich is a failure on there part, or some one on the inside tampered with it, also a failure on there part, not to mention you would think the Head of the Magic academy that the Royal family would attend would be capable of atleast gauging some ones strength even if roughly,
also if she used magic to fake that score that still shows she's strong enough to do so, and if they could not detect her doing so infront of them, then why the hell are they teaching magic,

the only remotely good part of all this was the Teacher trying to teach her students that dark magic isnt inherently evil and shouldn't be judged as such

For a very powerful renowned school they sure don't know their stuff. You can't assume the ball would be tampered since its just a tool to measure on what level the character is, if it's to measure the power level they have then she can hold back and tampered with it.
