流体金属を思いついた石黒版のスタッフ優秀すぎる

美容と健康のため、食後に一杯の紅茶

デススターやスターキラーに比べると、防御面と自給性は物凄く優秀なんだな…。

3期のイゼルローン要塞vsガイエスブルク要塞がどのように描かれるのか、楽しみで仕方がない
もちろん、ミュラー提督がどんなデザインになるのかと演じられる声優さんが誰になるのかも笑笑

原作はデススターに近い形状ですね。石黒版で今のイゼルローンのイメージになったそうな

原作では普通の装甲で、OVAで流体金属装甲になったんですよね。流体金属から砲台が出たり、艦隊が沈んでいったりと印象的でした。

銀河帝国側で作ったものなのに印象はヤン艦隊の家

そんなヤンファミリーになりたいなぁ…

要塞建設まで反乱軍の妨害を阻止し回廊の制宙権を維持した帝国宇宙艦隊の奮闘がきっとあったに違いない。
流石は栄光ある銀河帝国軍よ。

原作の挿絵ではデススターっぽかったけど、流体金属層の外壁のアイデアは原作改良と思いました
ガイエスブルグ要塞戦で満潮を対要塞砲に、引潮を利用して内壁を攻撃するって良い作戦だったなぁｗ

他作品の宇宙要塞と決定的に異なる点は、
やはり流体金属装甲による
艦隊規模の一点集中砲火にも小動もしない圧倒的なまでの防御と
要塞主砲クラスの攻撃を受け装甲を貫通されても
その自己修復性により即時復元する圧倒的な耐久力だね。

イゼルローン要塞は､やっぱり旧ＯＶＡ版が最高です。

流体金属の時点で強そうだと思いましたね（ターミネーターの影響）

流体金属は加藤直之氏のアイデアらしいですね。
イラストを担当された「奇想天外SF兵器」という本にご本人が書いてました。

「9億2400万メガワット」と言うと圧倒的だけど、「924テラワット」と言うと迫力がなくなる。
「0.924ペタワット」と言うと可愛くすらある。

キートン山田さん(中の人)の　コストが…って台詞にはねぇ… 第二期での要塞対要塞が凄い楽しみですね！

旧新含めてイゼルローンを一番美しく描いているのは劇場版「わが征くは星の大海」それのみ

最近銀英伝のリメイクを見てハマったので解説助かります！！

銀河最強の宇宙要塞もヤン提督の家というだけで
穏やかな都市に思えてしまう。

原作小説では流体金属装甲の設定はなかった。旧OVA版で見た時はすごい設定だな、と感心しました。

帝国の指向性ゼッフルさんや大質量体(要塞で有る必要性は無い)の恒星間移動技術、ヤンの使った氷塊亜光速質量弾。
イゼルローンや宇宙艦隊戦が意味消失してしまうのでひっそり禁じ手になっていますね！

優しく心を抉る挿入歌もやばい😢

I love the character parallels and rivalry between these two so much. The fact that this is the only time they met each other yet the clash of their ideologies is so engaging to see and that makes their dynamic more unique than other anime rivalries.

I love how both of them are being respectful with Yang Wenli even addressed Reinhard as "Your Excellency" just like two men discussing about politics despite being rival to each other and actively trying to kill each other on the battlefield.

It was one of those rare time when Yang Wen Li actually find someone of a higher rank who is willing to understand about his perspective and he turns out to be the Kaiser of the enemy.

Strange, despite being the two protagonists (or deuteragonists), this is the only time of all anime they meet face-to-face

Two fantastic characters.

Its funny because some guys complain that they can't get into old Logth bacause of the animation, but for me old ova makes these characters look more graceful.

Before the characters of Classroom of the Elite, Game of Thrones, Death Note and Code Geass we had these two. 🥹

One question for Yang, is that a Republican democracy is superior to autocracy because it’s the right of the people to destroy themselves, who are the “people”? I’ll be honest, at first, as a human, I would be attracted to a normal cute girl more than an alien flying in her underwear and ik she’s sometimes in regular human clothes and that’s when she’s really beautiful, but if I was ataru I would wonder if lum wanted more from me than just my company, i mean she’s super beautiful and can fly and probably could power the whole damn planet if she wanted to, so I would ask myself why the f*ck does she want to be with a normal boy like me? She could just be super madly in love with ataru and I think she is, but think about it, she could be with a rich dude and live the best life, but maybe she’s just an airhead. It’s just crazy how loyal she is to ataru after all he does to other girls, but seriously he’s crossed the line many times and she’s still with him. She still sees good in him, which is inhuman, but she’s an alien, not a human. So I have to say if I had the choice to date a regular girl let’s say age 19 or lum i’d have to go with lum, she’s far more loyal and feminine than any girl in the u.s.a and maybe the entire world.

This is probably irrelevant but the ending song is something but normal. i.e special and unusual.
That segment is in 7 beats which is odd time signature. Without music theory knowledge you won't even understand what it means. In simple this ain't no ordinary 3 beats or 4 beats pop songs!
Examples of this signature contains "Rakshasa Kingdom" by Dao lang or Money by Pink Floyd.

The full song "心細いな" only have these two bars in 7 and others are still the normal 4. Also no sign showed lum has music talent. (It's from cartoon and it's hard to do…) But if the characters in UY can sing Lum would sure sing this or something even more irrational.

More than likely the reason why Hikaru's not getting stung to death is because of the Queen herself. She most likely placed pheromones on him so that he can be identified by the hive workers as part of the hive or something equal in rank as herself and why everyone else nopes the hell away from the hive. This guy is practically an unlimited fountain of resources for any pollinating species so making sure her hive doesn't kill him is absolutely necessary if she wants her hive to thrive lol.
